Rooms in Maranza: Pension Wiesenrain, facing the Puster Valley
In Maranza the Puster Valley opens up right in front of the windows, and this view outside is what all the rooms at Pension Wiesenrain have in common: the breathtaking beauty of the valley. Everything else differs from room to room: the square metres, the wood of the furnishings, maple or spruce in Tyrolean country-house style, the balcony facing south or west as well. Here you can breathe out in peace and enjoy nature to the fullest!
We are not a big hotel, and we do not try to be one. The Wiesenrain is a family-run guesthouse with fair prices and no unnecessary luxury: five kinds of room, from the Standard double room to the 40 m² Family suite with two separate bedrooms.
Outside the front door the location counts as much as the room itself. In summer many hikes start right here and the car can stay parked for days; in winter the cable car is only 300 metres away, and from the slopes of the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski area you can ski right back to the house. Five kinds of room, all with a view of the valley
The Standard and Dolomites double rooms, the Comfort room and the Family room all offer every comfort and a balcony; the fifth type is the Family suite with two separate bedrooms. The rates are per adult and per day, either with breakfast (B&B) or with half board.
In summer, Pension Wiesenrain mainly operates as a B&B and offers dinner on 4 evenings per week. Additional dinners can be arranged on request. During selected summer weeks, half board may also be available, with 1–2 restaurant rest days per week. In winter, we offer half board. Standard double room | 15-18 m²
The double rooms are 15-18m 2 and have every modern convenience, as well as a south-facing balcony.

Dolomites double room | 18-21 m²
The 18-21m 2 rooms are furnished with solid wooden furniture in rustic South Tyrolean style. They have every modern convenience and a south-facing balcony.

Comfort Room | 21 m²
The 21m 2 rooms are furnished in maple wood in traditional Tyrolean country house style. They have every modern convenience and a large south-facing balcony.

The 21-27m 2 rooms are furnished in spruce in traditional Tyrolean country house style. They have every modern convenience and have south and west balconies with fantastic views.

The 40m 2 family suite with 2 separate bedrooms is furnished in spruce in traditional Tyrolean country house style. The family suite is ideal for families whose children want their own space.

Conditions of stay
The room rates quoted are per adult and per day. To these you add the local tax and, in some cases, a surcharge.
Local tax: € 2.80 per person from the age of 14, per day, paid here on site.
Stays of less than 4 days: surcharge of € 8.00 per person per night.
Double room for single occupancy: surcharge of € 25.00 per day, possible in the Standard and Dolomites types only.
One thing we prefer to say before you book: we are animal lovers, but for hygiene reasons we cannot accept pets.
The Alpinpool, the sauna and the Guest Pass are already included
The room rate includes free admission to the Alpinpool indoor swimming pool and a 25% discount for the pool's new wellness area. You can use the sauna here in the Wiesenrain twice free of charge, and in summer the inclusive services of the Brixen Südtirol Guest Pass come on top, starting with free travel on public transport.
The Alpinpool is not far from our guesthouse. It has a sauna area, an indoor and an outdoor pool with a large sunbathing lawn for sunny days, a children's area with slides, bistros and much more. Fun for the whole family!
